Britney Spears' 'Femme Fatale' Track By Track

Has it really been over 12 years since Britney Spears released her first album, "...Baby One More Time"? Though it seems only like yesterday to some, in that dozen years, she's released six studio albums -- not to mention two greatest hits compilations.

Fast-forward to the present, and the now 29-year old pop diva has brought us her seventh studio effort, "Femme Fatale." Largely produced by the inescapable hitmakers Dr. Luke and Max Martin, the album is chock full of uptempo dance numbers charged with lyrics about first looks, second glances and stolen moments.

Dr. Luke and Martin aren't the only pop masterminds behind the boards for "Femme." Spears also enlisted will.i.am, Henrik Jonback and Bloodshy, among others, to craft the 12 song set. (16 if including the four bonus tracks available on the deluxe edition.)

Here's a look at the album, song by song. What do you think of it? Be sure to tell us in the comment section at the bottom of the page.

1. "Till the World Ends"

"Till the World Ends'" message is simple -- and one that's been echoed incessantly over the past year in countless Hot 100 top ten hits: dance until you drop from exhaustion. With its roof-shaking chant-chorus, "Femme Fatale's" opening track comes on hard like its the sexy spawn of Usher's "OMG" and Baltimora's "Tarzan Boy."

Rush-released to digital retailers in early March after it leaked, the song immediately debuted at No. 20 on the Hot 100 before vaulting to No. 9 the following week -- marking Spears' 10th top 10 single.

2. "Hold It Against Me"

It shouldn't surprise anyone that the anticipation for the set's first single, "Hold It Against Me," was so great that the song immediately debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It marked Spears' second chart-topping debut and her fourth No. 1 overall.

From the opening thumpy-thumps of its bassline and Spears' come-hither "hey, over there" -- it's clear whose in the driver's seat in "Femme Fatale's" kick-off number. The verses are rhythmically mechanical, while its punny choruses are dreamy with layered vocals -- in a way giving us both sides of Spears as siren-on-the-dance-floor. On the one hand she's a no-nonsense "gimme what I want" girl, while on the other a delicate dancer on the floor batting her eyes at her target. By the time the daring dubstep bridge appears around the 2:15 mark, the song has hit a homerun. The stuttery stop-start beats simply beg for a massive dance breakdown during the diva's upcoming tour.

3. "Inside Out"

Easily a natural pick for "Femme's" third single, the oh-so-saucy "Inside Out" begins demurely enough, with Spears singing over a grinding beat about "sittin' in the mirror gettin' pretty." But things take a seriously scandalous turn when her perhaps soon-to-be-ex shows up at the door. Next thing we know, Spears is crying out "So come on! Won't you give me something to remember? Baby shut your mouth and turn me inside out." Whoah! Did it get hot in here, or is it just us? Spears even goes as far to (intentionally?) reference two of her earlier hits in "Inside's" chorus: "...hit me one more time, it's so amazing.../...you're the only one who drove me crazy..." (riffing on "...Baby One More Time" and "(You Drive Me) Crazy"). Finally, with a beat reminiscent of Ginuwine's "Pony," we await the inevitable mash-up of the two singles.

4. "I Wanna Go"

"I Wanna Go" is the sister track to "Till the World Ends" in that both are driving, throbbing, Spears-commands-you-to-dance tracks about letting go. "Wanna" is vague in specific intentions, wrapping its message in generalities about "going all the way" over a pulsing beat. "Wanna" was one of the tracks initially teased to fans by Dr. Luke well before the album dropped, a good sign that it may be a candidate for a proper single release.

5. "How I Roll"

Put your hand up if you thought Spears sang "You could be my f*** tonight" on "How I Roll"... before you realized she was actually singing the much tamer "You could be my thug tonight?" OK, maybe that's only our hand we see in the air. "How I Roll" lets listeners take a break from the disco inferno of "Femme's" first four tracks, as it pop-pops along like a bubble machine with a perky little summery beat.

6. "(Drop Dead) Beautiful" featuring Sabi

With giggly lyrical couplings like "your body looks so sick, I think I caught the flu" and "you must be B.I.G. because you got me hypnotized" -- "Beautiful" doesn't take itself too seriously. Halfway through the number, the luckiest rapper in the world, Sabi, appears, inexplicably rhyming "sweatin' you" with "vegtables" (pronounced as "veg-ta-bulls"). (Truly, you didn't know who Sabi was either until she appeared on "Femme," right? She thus finds herself in a most fortunate position -- as one of only two guest stars on "Femme." And the only one that's unknown.)

7. "Seal It With a Kiss"

In the way that "I Wanna Go" is a sibling to "Till the World Ends," here we find another kissin' cousin: "Seal It With a Kiss" is clearly the companion piece to "Inside Out." In our minds, we hear "Seal" -- which describes a (wished for?) secret affair -- as the prelude to what ultimately ends with "Inside Out." On "Femme Fatale," Spears is at her best when working her sex-kitten smolder, excelling on the tracks -- like "Seal" -- where the listener is pushed to the emotional edge of either a feverish meeting on the dancefloor, or a sexy romp in a bedroom or backroom.

8. "Big Fat Bass" featuring will.i.am

After seven nearly-sterling tracks, "Femme Fatale" hits a slight bump in the road with this will.i.am-produced thumper. The sparse tune clocks in at a too-long 4:45 minutes and is "Femme's" lengthiest track. Like the Black Eyed Peas' "The Time (Dirty Bit)," also produced by will.i.am, "Big Fat Bass" comes across as a pastiche of interesting moments and sounds instead of a fully realized song. That said, we can completely hear this track blasting in a club, with Spears cooing "I can be your treble" while the crowd screams back "you can be my bass!"

9. "Trouble For Me"

Think of "Trouble For Me" as a high-concept tale: a man who is toxic in a relationship, but is also the life of the party. Again, the emotional thread of "you're bad, yet good" (heard earlier on "Inside Out") rears its head here -- but with lesser effect. It's bouncy and springy enough, but it's definitely one of "Femme's" lesser tracks. (Though we are now pontificating who inspired this song in real life…)

10. "Trip To Your Heart"

We're in the home stretch of the album and we're getting to the tunes that are either going to be loved or hated. This particular track, "Trip To Your Heart," with lyrics like "spread my wings out into the dark / I'll fly away on a trip to your heart," divided many fans on Twitter. While some admire its tender, lovey-dovey sentiment, others have suggested it's quite out of place on another otherwise aggressively button-pushing feet-on-the-floor set.

11. "Gasoline"

"Gasoline" works every possible pun involving fuel. Take your pick: "my heart runs only on supreme," "you're setting me on fire," "your touch burning me," "you burn up everything," etc. If one can get past the lyrical silliness, there's a rather pedestrian pop tune underneath. Again, "Gasoline" is buried towards the end of "Femme" for a reason.

12. "Criminal"

Spears channels her best "Madonna-with-acoustic-guitar" here on "Criminal," the only true ballad on the album. A skittery, "Don't Tell Me"-like beat is accompanied by a sad strummy guitar whilst Spears sings "Mama I'm in love with a criminal / and this type of love isn't rational, it's physical." (Weirdly, during the singsongy chorus couplings, where all the words end with "als," we kept hearing -- clearly an unintentional nod -- Supertramp's "The Logical Song.") "Criminal" -- while some of the lyrics are a teensy clunky at times -- is a fitting closer to a nearly-completely excellent album.

Bonus Tracks on Deluxe Version:

13. "Up N' Down"

The first of "Femme Fatale's" bonus tracks heads back to the dance floor, where we find ourselves picturing an aggressive Spears going "Up N' Down." (Now, we can only assume she's doing deep knee bends, funking to her favorite song.) In "Up," Spears does one of the things she does best: play the part of club queen. In this mode, she plays super vixen: eyeing men in the club, sizing them up and taunting them with her "Up N' Down."

14. "He About to Lose Me"

A song about a relationship that's perhaps about to go awry, "He About To Lose Me" packs a serious emotional punch. Spears sings about being at the club, entranced by a new man she's made contact with -- all the while thinking of her current beau, who's at home. Will she leave the club with the new guy? Or will she go home to her man -- a guy she's not even all that sure loves her anymore? There's more drama in this 3:49 track than in most soaps! (One incredible flaw to the song? We're not positive Spears is singing on the chorus -- unless her voice has been processed beyond recognition.)

15. "Selfish"

"Be my prisoner of love tonight." Ahem. In "Selfish," Spears' boy-turned-man  conquest for the evening is virtually tied up by the diva and ordered to do her bidding. It's a fun number and would have totally worked as a proper inclusion on "Femme" instead of being relegated to bonus track status.

16. "Don't Keep Me Waiting"

A new wavey rock moment for Spears, where fuzzzed-out guitars are paired with what sound like live drums on the ready-for-the-arena track. If your head isn't thrashing about during the chorus, there's something seriously wrong. It barrels through like a locomotive: "don't keep me waiting / i'm goin' crazy / got me waitin' come and take it from me!." (Whatever could she possibly mean by "it?")

Katy Perry's 'E.T.' Rockets To No. 1 On Hot 100

Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" becomes the first album in more than six years to yield four No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, as "E.T.," featuring Kanye West, rises 2-1 with Airplay Gainer honors.

The space-age love song follows "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg, the title cut and "Firework" to the chart's summit, making Perry's second Capitol Records album the first to yield a quartet of Hot 100 No. 1s since Usher's "Confessions" in 2004.

"Teenage Dream" is just the ninth album to produce four No. 1s in the Hot 100's 52-year history. It's the first by a solo female since Mariah Carey's eponymous debut set in 1990-91.

"I am so thrilled that 'E.T.' has landed at No. 1," Perry tells Billboard.com. "I want to thank all the fans who contributed to this amazing feat and radio, which has been an essential part of my continued existence. I truly appreciate all the support of my creative twists and turns."

"Can't wait to share the video with you tomorrow(today)," Perry adds, teasing the premiere of the "E.T." clip at noon ET today on MTV.com and VEVO.

On Digital Songs, "E.T." spends a third week at No. 1, logging sales of 254,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The song concurrently reaches the top 10 on Radio Songs (13-10; 74 million audience impressions, up 35%, according to Nielsen BDS).

"E.T." is Perry's fifth Hot 100 No. 1. Prior to her current album, her 2008 release "One of the Boys" generated the seven-week leader "I Kissed a Girl."

"E.T." marks West's fourth No. 1 and first since "Stronger" in 2007.

The song outpaces Rihanna's "S&M" (3-2) and Cee Lo Green's "F**k You (Forget You)," which rebounds 4-3 after peaking at No. 2 for four weeks. Despite its much-heralded airplay odyssey, due largely to its lyrical content, the latter track reaches the Radio Songs apex (2-1, 111 million in audience, up 7%) in its 18th week on the chart.

Perry's new Hot 100 No. 1 pushes Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" from No. 1 to 4 after spending its first six chart weeks in charge. As previously reported, the first single and title cut from Lady Gaga's new album, due May 23, becomes her record-tying seventh No. 1 on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart.

The Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough" holds at No. 5 on the Hot 100 and Wiz Khalifa's "No Sleep" roars in as the Hot Shot Debut at No. 6. "Sleep" starts at No. 2 on Digital Songs (244,000 downloads). The Pittsburgh rapper, who topped the Hot 100 with his debut smash "Black and Yellow" in February, also claims Digital Gainer honors with "Roll Up," which jumps 45-29 (74,000, up 45%).

Following his heavily-publicized "Good Morning America" appearance last week, Chris Brown rises 8-7 on the Hot 100 with "Look at Me Now," featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. The track swaps spots with P!nk's "F**kin' Perfect" (7-8).

As previously reported, Brown scores his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as "F.A.M.E." launches atop the album list. Another track from the set, "Next 2 You," featuring Justin Bieber, begins at No. 26 on the Hot 100.

Jeremih's "Down on Me," featuring 50 Cent, pushes 10-9 and Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor," featuring Pitbull, returns to the top 10 (13-10). The latter title, which peaked at No. 5 for two weeks, climbs 8-7 on Digital Songs (143,000, up 3%) and 42-34 on Radio Songs (33 million, up 24%).

"Floor" concurrently becomes Lopez's sixth consecutive No. 1, and ninth overall, on Billboard's Dance/Club Play Songs chart.

Jennifer Lopez Previews Lil Wayne-Assisted Single 'I'm Into You'

While "On the Floor," the first single from Jennifer Lopez's forthcoming album "Love?," is still performing nicely on the Hot 100, the singer has decided to unveil the set's next single. Lopez previewed "I'm Into You," featuring Lil Wayne, and discussed the latest "American Idol" happenings during an appearance on Ryan Seacrest's syndicated radio show this morning (Mar. 30).

"When I look into your eyes, it's over/You got me hooked with your love controller," Lopez sings on the catchy, synth-heavy pop track. Weezy kicks off the song with off-the-cuff lines like "You're way too fly, I could be your jet fuel," in a verse that's more sedated than Pitbull's guest spot on "On the Floor."

A 30-second snippet on "I'm Into You" was played on Seacrest's radio show, and the host announced that the full track will be "unlocked" once enough fans "Like" Lopez's new single on her Facebook page. In the meantime, Lopez talked with Seacrest about last week's dramatic "Idol" elimination episode, in which the judges made the risky decision to use their save on Casey Abrams.

"That was one decision I have not lost one ounce of sleep over," says Lopez. "I just knew it was the right thing, Randy knew it was the right thing, Steven knew it was the right thing. This is one of our most dynamic performers -- he's so interesting, he's so talented. I know it's crazy, but we have to do it."

"American Idol" continues tonight at 8:00 pm EST on Fox, with two contestants in the Top 11 getting cut during tomorrow night's elimination episode. Lopez's "On the Floor" re-enters the Hot 100's top 10 this week (13-10), and becomes Lopez's sixth consecutive No. 1 on Billboard's Dance/Club Play Songs chart.

Britney Spears' 'Femme Fatale' Aiming for No. 1

All eyes are on Britney Spears, as the pop diva is poised to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart next week with her new album, "Femme Fatale." Her seventh studio effort, released on Tuesday (Mar. 29), is on course to top the tally with around 280,000 copies sold by week's end on April 3.

Industry prognosticators suggest the album could approach 300,000 if all of the stars align. Presently, it's looking like "Femme" will earn the second-largest sales week of the year after Adele's "21" bow with 352,000.

If "Femme" finds its away to No. 1, it will give Spears her sixth chart-topper. Five out of her earlier six studio sets crowned the tally -- only her fifth, "Blackout," missed the top slot, starting at No. 2.

A sixth No. 1 album would place Spears in rare air, tying her for the third-most No. 1s among women with Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. Only Barbra Streisand (nine No. 1s) and Madonna (seven) have earned more No. 1s.

Spears' last studio release, 2008's "Circus," blasted in at No. 1 with 506,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan, led by the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single "Womanizer." "Femme" was preceded by the Hot 100 No. 1 "Hold It Against Me" while its second single, "Till the World Ends," rebounds 23-22 on the tally this week, after having already (so far) peaked at No. 9.

Spears won't be the only big news on the Billboard 200 next week. Wiz Khalifa is looking to enter at No. 2 with his first major label album, "Rolling Papers," with perhaps 200,000 to 225,000. We can also expect debuts from the mainstream release of Radiohead's "The King of Limbs," Snoop Dogg's "Doggumentary" and Mary Mary's "Something Big."

Miley Cyrus Slams Rebecca Black, Also Says She is Not Single

Miley Cyrus was once a burgeoning 13-year-old star herself, so why is she hating on young Rebecca Black?

"It should be harder to be an artist," Cyrus pined to Australia's Daily Telegraph when asked about the rising viral sensation and her new song, 'Friday.' "You shouldn't just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour."

Cyrus is no stranger to controversy, but to be fair, she has held it together better than most child-turned-adult stars. Upon turning 18 she's had to face the near-divorce of her parents, racy photos being leaked, the cancellation of 'Hannah Montana' and, of course, the whole Salvia bong-smoking incident. But don't look for her to take to the social airwaves to complain about it.

"I do not Tweet, I do not social network, I try to stay out of it," she admitted. "For me, I complain enough about people knowing too much about my private life, so to go out there and exploit myself would be silly and hypocritical of what I stand for."

Cyrus is dealing with it the way she was raised by her father Billy Ray Cyrus to deal with it; by singing. "I don't lip-sync," she said proudly. "I would rather someone say I sang like crap than have people see me lip-sync."

Scaling back her stage performance, Cyrus was interviewed by the daily in advance of her Australian leg of her 'Gypsy Heart' tour, and she was excited to share that this set of shows features fewer costume changes, some acoustic songs and a setlist influenced by shout-outs from the crowd -- and all for a ticket price under $100. But will she be traveling alone?

"I don't want to cross out the Australian boys but I may or may not be single ... I'm definitely not coming to Australia single."

E-TRIBE will not be taking legal action against Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”

After acknowledging the similarities between Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” and SNSD’s “Be Happy,” producing team E-TRIBE (the composers behind “Be Happy”) have revealed that they will not be taking legal action.
Previously, E-TRIBE announced ,”I do feel that there are similarities. The way the song flows and the arrangements are, honestly, the same. I am currently working to get in contact with Lady Gaga’s publishing label to find further information.”
On March 21st, An Myung Won of E-TRIBE stated, “Those around us say that Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ plagiarized SNSD’s Be Happy,’ so I did check it out.  For now, we don’t have plans of taking any action.”
He continued, “It is true that the song’s flow and arrangement are similar, but after discussing it further with various other professionals, opinions remained divided.  There are too many convoluted parts to nail it as plagiarism, so we’ll be discussing further options calmly.”

Billy Ray Cyrus Drops Divorce, Praises 'Hannah Montana'

Despite telling GQ that "Hannah Montana" "destroyed his family," Billy Ray Cyrus is praising the Disney Channel show again -- and calling off his divorce with wife of 17 years, Tish Cyrus.

Cyrus took to TV's "The View" in an episode airing today (Mar. 18) to announce that his relationship with Tish, who is the mother of his five children including Miley Cyrus, is on the mend. Billy Ray used the opportunity to clarify his negative statements toward Disney and the "Hannah Montana" franchise, which appeared in the March 2011 of GQ Magazine.

"To set the record straight, I love 'Hannah Montana,' I love Disney -- that didn't tear my family apart," Cyrus said. "Now fame -- fame is a different animal."

In regards to his family, Cyrus gushed: "Things are really the best they've ever been. A lot of people think that I am divorced -- I'm not divorced. I dropped the divorce. I wanted to put my family back together."

Cyrus declared his relationship with Miley stronger than ever, after a reported estrangement following her December 2010 salvia bong hit seen around the world. "I feel like we're the daddy and daughter we were before 'Hannah Montana,'" Cyrus said.

He also revealed that his daughter is currently hard at work on a new album -- and that she's been meeting with songwriter/producer Dr. Luke, whom she collaborated with on her biggest hit to date, "Party in the U.S.A."

Despite Miley's progress on the follow-up to 2010's "Can't Be Tamed," the singer-actress may have more singles from the album in store. Poison frontman Bret Michaels recently told E! News that Cyrus' cover of his band's mega-hit "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" will finally see a release later this year.

In his interview, Michaels suggested that the single's release had been delayed by Miley's label following tabloid rumors that he was romantically involved with Tish Cyrus.

Panic! at the Disco 'Pick Up the Slack' on 'Vices & Virtues'

"This has meant more than anything in the past two years," Brendon Urie earnestly told a sold-out crowd at New York's Bowery Ballroom on Feb. 1. The Panic! at the Disco frontman's sentiment was matched only by the excitement of the revved-up crowd of die-hard fans that turned out on the bitterly cold evening to welcome the band back into the spotlight.

Panic! at the Disco first broke out in 2005 with the dramatic synth-pop record "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," which has sold more than 1.8 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In 2008, the group ditched its teenage circus routine for the Beatles-esque follow-up, "Pretty. Odd.," which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 422,000 copies.

Now, after 18 months away from the U.S. stage, Panic! at the Disco has reinvented itself again. Gone are the flowers and hippie-themed decorations from 2009; in their place is a plain black backdrop with the band logo written in a dramatic yellow script. Also missing are bassist Jon Walker and founding member/primary songwriter Ryan Ross, who left Panic! two years ago to start theYoung Veins, leaving Urie and drummer Spencer Smith to pick up the pieces.

Following the departure of half the band, Urie and Smith have emerged with third album "Vices & Virtues," due March 22 on Fueled by Ramen in conjunction with Decaydance Records. Together, the two seem to have found a middle ground between their previous releases, but the journey had left fans-and even Urie and Smith-questioning whether they'd make it.

"There were a few months of not really knowing what we wanted to do, and Brendon going through a bunch of demos from writing stuff on his own," says Smith, sitting in the Atlantic Records dining room the day of the Bowery show.

While Walker and Ross' exit left a hole in the Panic! songwriting regime, the experience became the catalyst for Urie finding his own voice and the confidence to take over as the band's principal songsmith.

"It was a huge growing period for me to come into my own. The hardest thing was just getting up and writing, saying, 'OK, I'm writing today. If the song ends up being bad, I'll have a good one sooner or later,' " Urie says. "I feel more confident, definitely. I was more easygoing in the past, and I really had to get out of that habit. I had to pick up the slack and be a go-getter."

"[Brendon] had been sort of a bit of a pawn and told what to do by other people up until this record," says producer Butch Walker, who co-wrote four of the new songs. "I noticed that he had confidence and swagger in the last few songs that we wrote together. He finally was able to not denounce himself and say, 'Fuck everyone else. This is me and this is what I'm saying.' "

To prepare for the new release, Panic! announced a presale on Feb. 1 for five different versions of the album on its website. The ultra-premium package-which includes a hoodie, necklace, vinyl album, DVD and other memorabilia-was limited to 300 copies and sold out in 15 minutes, while smaller bundles, featuring fewer items at various prices, are still for sale.

Panic! also capitalized on fan excitement with teaser videos for the first single, "The Ballad of Mona Lisa," which was released Feb. 1; the clip premiered on MTV and YouTube on Feb. 8. Shane Drake, who has directed all of the band's videos, teamed up with Panic! to film "The Overture," a short film previewing four tracks from "Vices & Virtues," that debuted on March 9.

The band will tour to support the new record, starting with a trek in Europe and the United Kingdom in late April that lasts until mid-May. A headlining North America tour will be announced around street date and run from late spring into summer.

"They took a lot of time trying to get it right, [but] it differentiates itself and takes a step forward," says Fueled by Ramen president John Janick, who signed Panic! in 2005.

"After seeing how their attitudes shifted toward everything and how they sort of took everything in over the last year-and-a-half," Janick continues, "they're so confident in this album and what they're doing. They're more creative than ever."

Kelly Clarkson's Fifth Album Delayed Until September

Fans anxiously awaiting Kelly Clarkson's fifth album will have to wait just a little longer. According to a recent post on the singer'sofficial Facebook page, the currently untitled album's release has been delayed until September 2011.

"I recently found out that my album won't be coming out until September ....the album has been recorded but I can't release it until then," the original "American Idol" wrote Tuesday night (Mar. 15). "I realize that is a long time but that's the best time to release it apparently so I'm sorry for the wait but I promise you it sounds great!"

Clarkson, whose duet "Don't You Wanna Stay" with Jason Aldean currently tops Billboard's Country Songs chart, has kept fans in the loop about the progress of her upcoming album via Facebook. On Valentine's Day (Feb. 14), the Texas songstress said she was slated to record the set's final song on Feb. 25, "then we will be releasing the album."

The "My Life Would Suck Without You Singer" also revealed on her official Facebook last month that the album was influenced by artists including Prince, Radiohead, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder. However, she assures country listeners: "There's a little bit of a country vibe/influence on a couple of songs."

Overall, Clarkson called it a "great pop record," on which she worked with producers and songwriters including Steve Jordan, Eric Hutchinson, Rodney Jerkins, Howard Benson and Toby Gad.

An announcement of the album's official release date is expected soon, according to a statement from Sony Music.

Clarkson's previous release, 2009's "All I Ever Wanted," became her second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, residing atop the chart for two weeks and selling 913,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Britney Spears' 'World' Spins Onto Hot 100

With Lady Gaga locked in at No. 1 for a fourth week and only one song entering the top 10, Britney Spears makes the Billboard Hot 100's splashiest headlines, debuting at No. 20 with "Till the World Ends."

Although she snaps a string of two consecutive No. 1 debuts ("3" and "Hold It Against Me"), a feat only she and Mariah Careyhave managed, Spears logs the fifth-highest-debuting of her 25 Hot 100 entries. "World," the second single from "Femme Fatale," due March 29, arrives with 117,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, after three days of availability. ("Hold," the set's lead track, launched at No. 1 seven weeks ago with 411,000 downloads after six days on sale).

"World," co-written by Ke$ha, concurrently starts at No. 68 on Radio Songs with 16.8 million out-of-the-box audience impressions on 145 stations, according to Nielsen BDS.

Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" banks a fourth week -- its entire chart life -- atop the Hot 100. The song is the first to begin at No. 1 and remain on top for as many as four frames since Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" (also four) in 1998.
Four other songs have launched with as much lasting fanfare: Mariah Carey's "Fantasy" (its first eight weeks, 1995); Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day" (16, 1995-96); Puff Daddy (as he was then credited) and Faith Evans' "I'll Be Missing You," featuring 112 (11, 1997); and, Elton John's "Candle in the Wind 1997"/"Something About the Way You Look Tonight" (14, 1997-98). "Born" is the only such song to achieve the feat in the digital era.

Two other notable movers shake up the Hot 100's top 10.

Following the premiere of the "On the Floor" video on the March 3 "American Idol" episode, new judge Jennifer Lopez's first top 10 as a lead artist since 2003 jumps 9-5 as the Digital Gainer in its second chart week. Sales swell by 31% to 223,000 downloads sold.

"Floor" is the first song to debut in the Hot 100's top 10 and increase in position and chart points in its second week since P!nk's eventual No. 1 "So What" rose 9-3 in its second frame the week of Sept. 13, 2008.

Two spots below Lopez, Ke$ha's "Blow" blasts 11-7. The second single from "Cannibal," following the No. 1 "We R Who We R," rises 10-6 on Digital Songs (164,000, up 27%). Ke$ha has now sent all six of her singles as a lead artist into the Hot 100's top 10. She also reached No. 9 last May as a guest on 3OH!3's "My First Kiss."

Rounding out the top 10, Cee-Lo Green's "F**k You (Forget You)" claims Airplay Gainer honors and holds at No. 2 for a third consecutive week. The song pushes 6-4 on Radio Songs (97 million in audience, up 20%).

Rihanna's "S&M" surges 5-3 on the Hot 100, passing P!nk's "F**kin' Perfect" (4-4), and Bruno Mars' "Grenade" descends 3-6.

Katy Perry places two songs in the top 10 for a second consecutive week. "E.T.," featuring Kanye West, holds at No. 8, rising 57-38 on Radio Songs (33 million, up 66%), and "Firework" falls 6-10.

In between Perry's songs, Enrique Iglesias' "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)," featuring Ludacris and DJ Frank E, slips 7-9.

Eight additional debuts join Spears' "World" in entering the Hot 100, led by Foo Fighters' "Rope" (No. 70), the No. 1 title on Rock Songs.

Ousted 2011 "American Idol" hopeful Chris Medina's "What Are Words" bows at No. 83. Proceeds of the song's sales benefit a fund established to assist Medina's fiancee, Juliana Ramos, who suffered a brain injury.

After she co-hosted "The Oprah Winfrey Show" March 1, 10-year-old Willow Smith re-enters her debut hit, "Whip My Hair," at No. 86 (25,000 downloads, up 41%) and charts her follow-up, "21st Century Girl," at No. 99 (23,000 first-week downloads).

Avril Lavigne Battles Her Label, Works with Ex-Husband on 'Goodbye Lullaby'

Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne has enjoyed a decade-long career of fashioning emotional but radio-friendly pop-rock -- singles like "Complicated," "I'm With You" and "My Happy Ending" have helped push her career U.S. album sales to 11.5 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Despite her label's best wishes, however, Lavigne was ready to push herself away from mainstream pop and present a more stripped-down sound on "Goodbye Lullaby," her first full-length in nearly four years that's out today (Mar. 8) on RCA Records.

"I'm older now. I've done the whole pop-rock, aggressive, bratty, playful, boy-bashing stuff," Lavigne, 26, tells Billboard.com. "I'm not really there right now, so I definitely didn't want to keep making the same record over and over."

Lavigne started writing a new batch of material in late 2008, after scoring an infectious hit with the Hot 100-topping "Girlfriend" in 2007 and supporting third album "The Best Damn Thing" with a world tour a year later. The singer worked in her Los Angeles home studio with longtime producer Butch Walker and songwriter Evan Taubenfeld, and later traveled to Sweden to write and record with pop maestro Max Martin (Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson) for the first time.

Deryck Whibley, the Sum 41 frontman whom Lavigne married in 2006 and divorced last November, also produced six songs on "Goodbye Lullaby." "We had a studio in the house that we were living in together, so it was just really simple," Whibley says of working on the album. "A lot of the songs I did were just supposed to be demos, but she's the kind of person where, if she does something once, it's usually her best take and she never wants to do it ever again. It would be just a quick demo but it would turn out really well."

Although "Lullaby" was still being finished when the couple announced their split in 2009, Lavigne says that recording with her ex-husband was never an awkward experience.

"I think I'm pretty lucky, and I feel really grateful to be able to say that we're like best friends, that we're like family," Lavigne says of Whibley. "I hope to work with him in the future. We have a great friendship, great relationship and a lot of respect for each other."

While first single "What The Hell" features a sunny pop-rock hook and has peaked at No. 11 on the Hot 100 since its January release, album tracks like "Wish You Were Here" and "Not Enough" are less upbeat, which Lavigne says presented a problem for RCA. The album has been done for a year, but Lavigne has had to argue with her label from changing "Lullaby" to a dancefloor-appealing album.

"The biggest challenge and only challenge of this album was my record company," says Lavigne. "I found myself in a situation on my fourth record with a bunch of people at the label who I didn't know, and they're coming in on my project and saying, 'Here's what we think you need to do for your record,' and giving me their vision. And radio's so rhythmic/dance-driven right now, and that's not where I was going with this record. So I had to fight and say no, but… I ultimately made the record I wanted to."

Lavigne will stay busy this month supporting "Lullaby" with appearances on "The View," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and she hopes a second single -- possibly the catchy rock track "Push" -- will be released soon. A tour is also in the works, and Lavigne says of her upcoming live show, "I think I'll do more stripped-down, acoustic stuff, like me on the piano, but I definitely don't wanna make my whole show like that. I'll have those moments and then rock out with the old stuff."

I would like to introduce my old friends that i met in my primary school...

These are just a few of them that I miss to laugh with...
Such a beautiful moment when I tried so hard to remember sweet things of my memories...
Since everyone is getting on their own way, it's very hard to see each other now..
I wish I could meet them in the future if I have a long life to live..
That's all for now,TQ..
I think that everyone would like to remember sweet memories that they ever have when they were young, right??
So do I...

Jennifer Lopez's 'On the Floor' Video Premieres on 'American Idol'

Riding high on her top ten debut on this week's Hot 100 chart (at No. 9)Jennifer Lopez premiered her new video for "On the Floor" during tonight's (Mar. 3) episode of "American Idol."
Debuting at roughly 9:50 pm -- just several minutes before the episode's wild card elimination results -- "On the Floor" elicited a response from "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest regarding J.Lo's abs. Indeed, the singer's 41-year-old toned body is on display as she shakes it in the clip's pumping club setting.

Switching from a bejeweled, sheer body suit to gold formal gown to a bra and harem pants, Lopez is looking at her finest in "On the Floor," with collaborator Pitbull bringing the swank as well.

"On the Floor" is the lead single off J.Lo's Apr. 19 album, "Love?" and is the first top ten for Lopez since 2003's "All I Have," with a No. 9 on Billboard's Hot 100 this week.
