Kes Muslim Bunuh Diri Semakin Serius

Oleh Hasliza Hassan
hasliza@bharian.com.my
2010/09/25

Gejala tak lagi perbuatan individu cetek agama tapi terpelajar, profesional

Penolong Pengarah Bahagian Dakwah, Jabatan Agama Islam Pahang (JAIP), Badli Shah Alauddin, berkata bunuh diri kini menjadi masalah global termasuklah umat Islam.

Moore Derma RM192,000 Bina Masjid

2010/09/25

– Agensi

Delegasi keluar dewan UNGA protes ucapan pemimpin Iran

Tambahnya, Amerika membelanjakan AS$80 bilion (RM256 bilion) untuk membina senjata nuklear.

– AP/AFP

Miley Cyrus Addresses Rumors in YouTube Post

by Megan Vick, N.Y.  |   September 22, 2010 3:48 EDT
Tabloid rumors can be so troublesome, but Miley Cyrus circumvents the gossip by spilling the truth via her YouTube video-blog. The teen queen took a break from a math quiz to clear up speculation about her personal life in this clip she posted late yesterday.

Video: Miley Cyrus clears the air in her latest YouTube video

Cyrus informs her fans that she is not engaged (and doesn't plan to be any time soon), and that still lives with her family, not her boyfriend. The "Can't Be Tamed" singer insists that she's way too young for that kind of commitment and that she's too focused on her career to seriously settle down.

The biggest rumor Cyrus put to bed was her alleged cell phone usage while driving. She explains that she actually was using her phone to call police to assist her with paparazzi that were blocking her car. "Apparently I got escorted home because I got in trouble by the cops when really I called the cops to deal with the paparazzi and they paparazzi-ed that. So really I can't win," says Cyrus.

Photographers have apparently caused the Disney star a lot of stress and are the reason she looks so miserable in pictures, she says. Cyrus admits that her "city" of California [the singer, hopefully, intended to say Los Angeles] isn't the most attractive place in the world, but she hasn't been able to properly explore since there are always cameras following.

Most of all, Cyrus wants to make sure fans know that she does appreciate their support. Even with her busy schedule, the pop princess assures her YouTube audience that she stops for as many pictures as she can and she absolutely loves when fans tell her how her songs have gotten them through a tough time.

Cyrus signs off with and an air kiss peace sign, and in her extra potent Southern twang, she says, "I'm just like y'all!"

Akon Previews 'Akonic' Album at NY Listening

Akon Previews 'Akonic' Album at NY Listening
by Jason Lipshutz, N.Y.  |   September 22, 2010 3:25 EDT

Akon has returned from a relatively quiet two years with "Akonic," a dance-heavy pop album currently slated for a Nov. 23 release on Konvict Muzik/Universal Motown. Songs from the Senegalese artist's fourth effort were previewed last night (Sept. 21) at a listening session at MPD in New York.

The seven songs played off the album mixed call-and-response hooks, heavy percussion and Auto-Tuned vocals, with "Give It To 'Em" tweaking Akon's singing until it emerges almost unrecognizable in the chorus. "Drop Down Low," "Hold You" and "Be Me" continued the uptempo dance vibe, with Akon playfully singing on the latter track, "Life's a bitch, and yes I love her/I wouldn't trade her for no other."

"Time is Money," featuring Black Mafia member Big Meech, offered a harder street-rap sound, while the synth-heavy "Nosy Neighbor" found Akon spying on a woman from his window as she is "getting naked." The set's highlight was club-ready first single "Angel," which combined soft, romantic verses with an infectious refrain. "I'm looking at an angel, and believe me what I say/She got the whole place glowing," Akon sings over a pulsating beat.

Originally titled "Stadium Music," "Akonic" follows up Akon's 2008 disc "Freedom," which spawned Hot 100 hits "Right Now (Na Na Na)" and "Beautiful" and has sold 762,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

'American Idol' Confirms Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler As New Judges

Billboard
'American Idol' Confirms Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler As New Judges
by Ann Donahue, L.A.  |   September 22, 2010 1:40 EDT

As widely expected, the judging lineup for "American Idol" season 10 will be Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, with Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, acting as an in-house mentor to contestants, with an assist from producers Timbaland and Polow Da Don.

The announcement was made before the Los Angeles round of auditions at the Forum Wednesday morning, an event that was glammed up with some smoke and neon lights -- and sequins on Lopez's part -- perhaps in order to distract from the fact the news was widely leaked weeks ago.

Each judge received an introductory clip reel before they were brought on stage to chat with host Ryan Seacrest; the several thousand auditioners in attendance sung along to Aerosmith's "Dream On" and screamed their love for Lopez. "I'm so excited to be here, to work with you and to watch you grow during this journey we're going to go on," Lopez said.

As part of her deal to judge "Idol," Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions will get a first look deal with 20th Century Fox Films and Fox Broadcasting Company, meaning that the studios have the first right of refusal on the singer's projects.

Earlier this year it was announced that "Idol" would switch its label allegiance from Sony BMG to UMG after 9 years; Iovine's role as mentor will include behind-the-scenes segments with Iovine helping the contestants.

Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe said, in essence, that Iovine will become the Simon Cowell-esque truthteller of the show, and called him AI's "music czar." "He's the type of guy who will listen to your CD and throw it in the bin in front of you and tell you it's not good enough," he says. "You know A&R guys."

"We're going to try every week to bring the artist along and really give them some input," Iovine said. "Nigel [Lythgoe] has been coaching me on how to do that in the course of the show. Timbaland and Polow [Da Don] are here to help; every week we're going to have the best producers in the world helping these artists. Contestants are going to have to show improvement every week."

While he didn't give specifics, Lythgoe said there will be some rules changes to the show, and while he's still open to celebrity visits, there will be no more artist mentors besides Iovine. "We are no longer going to get the country singer to sing rock," Lythgoe said. "We-and Jimmy-going to get them to stay in the genre they belong." The music choices will vary more by decade this year, he said, as opposed to changing up themes entirely.

Fox Head of Reality Mike Darnell said despite the rumors that Lopez made diva demands during negotiations, the entire process was smooth. Ryan Seacrest and Jackson visibly bristled when a reporter asked the diva question, resulting in Lopez to laugh uproariously. "They're like my brothers now!" she said. "What the hell! [As for the diva rumors] I'm kind of used to it. I've been calming the Fox people down, saying [the rumors] will be done tomorrow. The truth always shows itself in who you are."

Tyler was a bit more cagey in response to rumors that his "Idol" judgeship was causing a rift with his Aerosmith bandmates. "At first they were jealous, they heard it through the press and not through me," he said. "And I was like,  'Four months ago you were looking for another lead singer.' Things go up and down. I've been on tour with these guys for 40 years...It's a real journey with those guys and they would say the same thing about me."

ARTIST OF THE MONTH - MILEY CYRUS (ROBOT)

"Robot"

Its been like this from the start,
One piece after another to make my heart
You mistake the game for being smart,
Stand here, sell this and hit your mark.
But the sound of the steel and the crush and the grind
It all screams to remind who decides my life
But in time it all dies there's nothing left inside
Just rusted metal that was never even mine

I would scream
But I'm just this hollow shell
Waiting here, begging please,
Set me free so I can feel
Heeey

[chorus]
Stop trying to live my life for me
I need to breathe
I'm not your robot
Stop telling me I'm part of the big machine
I'm breaking free
Can't you see,
I can love, I can speak
Without somebody else operating me
You gave me eyes so now I see
I'm not your robot, I'm just me

All this time I've been misled
There was nothing but cross-wires in my head,
I've been taught to think that what I feel doesn't matter at all
So you say it's real

I would scream
But I'm just this hollow shell
Waiting here, begging please,
Set me free so I can feel
Heeey

[chorus]
Stop trying to live my life for me
I need to breathe
I'm not your robot
Stop telling me I'm part of the big machine
I'm breaking free
Can't you see,
I can love, I can speak
Without somebody else operating me
You gave me eyes so now I see
I'm not your robot, I'm just me
I'm not your robot, I'm just me
I'm not your robot

I would scream
But I'm just this hollow shell
Waiting here, begging please,
Set me free so I can feel
Heeey

Stop trying to live my life for me
I need to breathe
I'm not your robot
Stop telling me I'm part of the big machine
I'm breaking free
Can't you see,
I can love, I can speak
Without somebody else operating me
You gave me eyes so now I see
I'm not your robot, I'm just me

Stop trying to live my life for me
I need to breathe
I'm not your robot
Stop telling me I'm part of the big machine
I'm breaking free
Can't you see
I can love, I can speak
Without somebody else operating me
You gave me eyes and now I see
I'm not your robot, I'm just me

Justin Bieber Reveals Dark Side in 'CSI' Spot

Billboard
by Monica Herrera, N.Y.  |   September 07, 2010 6:34 EDT

Don't be fooled by Justin Bieber's boyish looks and sweet demeanor. The 16-year-old pop star could be a killer, if you believe the commercial teasing his upcoming appearance on "CSI."

Justin Bieber to Guest Star on 'CSI'

In the 15-second spot, a husky voiceover says, "He's made millions of fans cry tears of joy, but this fall on 'CSI,' Justin Bieber will make you scream." Bieber dons an orange prison jumpsuit and stares ominously into the camera from his jail cell, while an older man mysteriously collapses to the ground. Was Bieber responsible for the fall? Stay tuned.

Bieber will make his acting debut on "CSI" during its Sept. 23 season premiere and make additional cameos during the season. The show's executive producer Carol Mendelsohn recently told MTV News that the pop singer's storyline is "explosive," describing his character as "a troubled young man, raised in the foster-care system, whose hard-luck life has left him scarred and angry...at the end of the episode, we're left with the question: Is Jason a good kid stuck in a bad situation or is Jason a bad kid hiding behind his cuteness?"

ARTIST OF THE MONTH - MILEY CYRUS (CAN'T BE TAMED)

"Can't Be Tamed"

For those who don't know me,
I can get a bit crazy
Have to get my way,yep
24 hours a day
'Cuz I'm hot like that

Every guy, everywhere
just gives me mad attention
Like I'm under inspection
I always gets a ten,
'Cuz I'm built like that

I go through guys like money
flyin' out the hands
They try to change me
but they realize they can't
And every tomorrow is a day I never plan
If you gonna be my man understand

I can't be tamed
I can't be tamed
I can't be blamed
I can't can't I can't can't be tamed
I can't be changed
I can't be tamed
I can't be can't I can't be tamed

If there was a question about my intentions,
I'll tell ya
I'm not here to sell ya
Or tell you to go to hell
(I'm not a brat like that)
I'm like a puzzle
but all of my pieces are jagged
If you can understand this,
we can make some magic,
I'm on like that

I wanna fly,
I wanna drive,
I wanna go
I wanna be a part of something I don't know
And if you try to hold me back I might explode
Baby, by now you should know

I can't be tamed
I can't be tamed
I can't be blamed
I can't can't I can't can't be tamed
I can't be changed
I can't be tamed
I can't be can't I can't be tamed

Well I'm not a trick you play,
I'm wired a different way
I'm not a mistake,
I'm not a fake,
It's set in my DNA
Don't change me
Don't change me
Don't change me
Don't change me
(I can't be tamed)

I wanna fly,
I wanna drive,
I wanna go
I wanna be a part of something I don't know
And if you try to hold me back I might explode
Baby, by now you should know

I can't be tamed
I can't be tamed
I can't be blamed
I can't can't I can't can't be tamed
I can't be changed

Katy Perry Album Gets Dream Start In The U.K.

Billboard

by Paul Sexton, London  |   September 06, 2010 7:15 EDT

Katy Perry scored her first U.K. No. 1 album with "Teenage Dream" (Virgin/EMI), but the title track single had to be content with a No. 2 debut behind former "X Factor" contestant Olly Murs' "Please Don't Let Me Go" (Epic/Syco Music/Sony Music Entertainment).

Perry's debut album "One of the Boys" debuted and peaked at No. 11 in the U.K. in October, 2008. The follow-up repeated its feat on the current Billboard 200 to arrive at the top, nudging Eminem's "Recovery" (Interscope/Universal) down to No. 2. In the U.K. "Teenage Dream" has first week sales of 54,000 according to the Official Charts Co.

Scottish rock trio Biffy Clyro's "Only Revolutions" (14th Floor/Warner Music), released last November when it debuted at No. 8, rebounded 27-3 on the new U.K. Official Charts Co listing last night (Sept. 5). The album is nominated for the Barclaycard Mercury Prize, the winner of which is announced at a London ceremony tomorrow (Sept. 8).

Another long runner climbing again on the chart was Mumford and Sons' "Sigh No More" (Universal Island), up 7-4. That's a new peak in its 48th chart week for the album, which debuted last October and has been dipping in and out of the top 10 since January. Two more titles opened in the new top ten, with the debut set "Light Me Up" (Interscope/Universal) by New York rockers the Pretty Reckless new at No. 6 and "Asylum" (Reprise/Warner Music) by Chicago hard rock act Disturbed at No. 7.

U.S. acoustic rock singer Lissie had a breakthrough week, climbing 42-12 with the debut album "Catching A Tiger" (Columbia/Sony Music Entertainment); much-touted new British modern rock group Everything Everything started at No. 17 with their "Man Alive" debut for Geffen/Universal; and veteran folk-rock artist Richard Thompson debuted at No. 20 with "Dream Attic" (Proper). It's Thompson's highest-ever U.K. album ranking after 25 years of charting solo albums.

Murs finished second behind Joe McElderry in last year's sixth series of "The X Factor" and was signed by Epic/Syco in February. "Please Don't Let Me Go" is the debut single from his first album, due in November. With Perry new at No. 2, the one other new top ten singles debutant was "You Took My Heart" (Must Be The Music) by Pepper & Piano, at No. 7. The duo of vocalist Katie Pepper and pianist Emma Alkazraji are contestants in the current Sky talent show series "Must Be The Music," judges on which include artists Jamie Cullum and Sharleen Spiteri.

On Billboard's pan-European sales charts, Iron Maiden's "The Final Frontier" (EMI) is in a second week atop European Albums, as the No. 1 berth on European Hot 100 Singles is occupied for a sixth straight week by "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment) by Shakira featuring Freshlyground.

Kara DioGuardi Leave American Idol???

Billboard
Kara DioGuardi Leaving 'American Idol'
by Ann Donahue, L.A.  |   September 03, 2010 11:26 EDT

Ending weeks of speculation, Kara DioGuardi and Fox announced late Friday (Sept. 3) that she would be departing as a judge on "American Idol" after two seasons.

A statement released by Fox was full of accolades for DioGuardi, perhaps to counteract the seemingly targeted Friday-evening-before-a-holiday-weekend news dump of the story.

"Kara is one of the world's best songwriters," says "Idol" creator and executive producer Simon Fuller. "She has been passionate and committed to 'Idol' over the last two seasons. I will miss having her on the show, but I look forward to working with her in music for many years to come."

Kara DioGuardi Reportedly Out at 'American Idol'

"Kara was a great addition to our 'Idol' family," said Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. "I've been fortunate to get to know her well, and have always been amazed by her eye for talent and her commitment to developing and mentoring artists. She will be missed, and we wish her continued success."

DioGuardi's departure comes on the heels of a similar announcement from Ellen DeGeneres, who served one season on the show. Longtime judge Simon Cowell also is leaving this season to focus on preparations for the U.S. version of the "X Factor," which will debut on Fox in 2011.

'Idol' Judge DioGuardi Reportedly 'Disappointed' by Fox Silence

No reason was given for DioGuardi's departure, although her statement in the release reads: "I felt like I won the lottery when I joined 'American Idol' two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave 'Idol'," said DioGuardi. "I am very proud to have been associated with 'American Idol' - it has truly been an amazing experience. I am grateful to Fix, FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment, as well as the cast, crew and contestants, for all they have given to me. I look forward to my next challenge, and want to thank everyone who has supported me. All the best to everyone on Season 10!" An attempt to reach DioGuardi was not immediately successful.

Fox has yet to make an official announcement as to who will comprise the judging panel on the next season of the show, although an announcement is expected in the next two weeks. The filming schedule of the show that requires the full judging panel starts in mid-September.

The tenth season of "American Idol" will return to Fox in January.

Upin Ipin (BERITA HARIAN 05092010)

Upin, Ipin 'duta' terbaik pulih hubungan serumpun 2010/09/05

Rancangan terbitan Malaysia diminati rakyat Indonesia

Agensi
